Everything is tied to a real, in-stock product

We only recommend products that are actually listed and purchasable on Amazon.in at the time of writing. Each pick links to its own product page on IndStor, which carries the live price, discount and availability. A guide will not go out unless it has at least three genuinely in-stock, buyable products behind it — and if enough of a guide's products go out of stock later, we flag it for review or take it down.

Prices and specs come from Amazon's own data

Prices, discounts (against the seller's stated list price), availability and Amazon sales rank are pulled directly from Amazon's catalogue and refreshed automatically. Technical specifications — RAM, storage, screen, CPU and GPU — are parsed from each product's own title and feature list. Where a fact matters and Amazon's listing is ambiguous — for example whether a laptop's memory is soldered or upgradeable — we check the manufacturer's official spec sheet or service manual and cite it, rather than guessing.

How we rank

This account currently receives no Amazon customer-rating data, and our own on-site ratings are too sparse to rank by, so we do not pretend to. Instead we rank on evidence we can stand behind: Amazon sales rank (a real signal of what buyers in India are actually choosing), live price and value within a stated budget, and measured specifications relevant to the job the reader is buying for. When we compare two products, we compare the specific India-market SKUs at today's price — not generic benchmark numbers you can get from a benchmark database.

Prices change — here's how we handle that

Hardware prices in India move constantly, especially memory and storage. Any price shown on a guide is stamped with the date and time (IST) it was last verified, and the live figure is what you see. The price and availability on Amazon at the moment you check out always take precedence over anything shown here. We never bake a fixed rupee figure into an article that could quietly go stale.

What we don't do

We don't claim to have personally bench-tested every product we write about — where we haven't, we won't pretend otherwise. We don't invent reviewer identities or fake hands-on experience. And we don't publish a guide just to fill a schedule: if the catalogue has nothing genuinely new or useful to say on a topic, we don't write it.
