Why two HP Victus laptops at the same price are not the same laptop

If gaming at 1080p is a main reason you are buying, the RTX 3050 6GB version (₹82,990) is the upgrade that makes sense — same modern CPU and 16GB, just more graphics headroom and video memory. The DDR5, newer-chip alternative: HP Victus 15-fb3012AX

Outside our current stock, HP also sells the Victus 15-fb3012AX in India — an AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS with the RTX 3050 6GB, 16GB of faster DDR5 and a 144Hz screen. If you specifically want DDR5 and the newest AMD chip, that is the model number to look for. For most buyers, though, the difference over the 13th-gen Intel + DDR4 models above is small in real use and rarely worth a price premium.

Want a bigger screen: the 16-inch Victus

The Victus 16-r1703TX (₹83,700) trades the 15.6-inch panel for a roomier 16.1-inch one with a 14th-gen i5 and RTX 3050. Worth it only if you value the larger display; otherwise the 15-inch models are better value.
